Visit to Boissy 23-26 May 2008

On Friday morning we all met at 6.30 a.m. in the car park next to the school. Our driver, Linda, soon had our luggage loaded and we were off to Dover. After a smooth ferry crossing and the usual traffic jams around Paris we arrived in Boissy at 7.30 p.m. There our host families met us and we quickly renewed old friendships.

After a day spent with our families, all the English and their French hosts met at the primary school at 5.30 p.m. From there two coaches took us to a nightclub about an hour's drive away.

When we arrived

we had a champagne
and canapé reception
where everyone
enjoyed themselves!

On Sunday some members and
their host families went

In the evening there was a
soirée in the Salle du
Jeu de Paumein Boissy.

After our meal Patsy gave
a speech, in English and
French, on behalf of Colney
Heath
and Irene Combré replied on
behalf of the Mayor of Boissy,
Marcel Messonier, who,
unfortunately, was unwell.
